Originally incorporated as Active Alliance, Incorporated, the company was transformed through strategic pivots in its business operations. Bloomberry was initially engaged in the manufacture and distribution of consumer communication and electronic equipment and operated within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone until 2003.

Through its subsidiaries, Sureste Properties, Inc. (SPI), and Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels, Inc. (BRHI), the company owns and operates Solaire Resort Entertainment City. Sureste Properties, Inc., incorporated in 1993, specializes in developing and operating tourist facilities including hotel-casino entertainment complexes and is registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority as a developer of a hotel project in a PEZA Tourism Economic Zone. BRHI holds a regular casino gaming license from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation since May 7, 2015.

Through its subsidiaries, Bloomberry develops, owns, and operates hotels, casinos, and integrated resorts in the Philippines and Korea. The company operates the Sky Tower, which consists of an all-suite hotel, VIP gaming salons, restaurants, and a shooting club, as well as Solaire Resort North, including gaming space, guest rooms, casual cafes, signature restaurants, ballroom, waterpark, and an indoor Kids’ Club. The company also operates Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino in Korea with gaming operations and food and beverage outlets.
