
MacroAsia’s Profit Grows 17% to ₱1.61 Billion in 2025: Here’s What Happened
MacroAsia Corporation (PSE: MAC), a company that provides services to airlines and operates food businesses, announced that it made ₱1.61 billion in profit for 2025.
MacroAsia Corporation (MAC) is a leading provider of aviation-related support services in the Philippines. The group mainly operates through three main subsidiaries, in which in-flight catering, ground handling and aircraft maintenance are the main line of businesses. MAC has also ventured into natural resources development, particularly in projects involving water distribution and treatment. This water segment has been growing, adding another revenue pillar for MAC.
The firm is listed under the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) and has been conducting commercial operations since 1996 as a holding company under its amended charter. Originally incorporated as Infanta Mineral & Industrial Corporation on February 16, 1970, the company was to engage in the business of geological exploration and development. On November 6, 1995, the SEC further approved another change of its corporate name to what is now known as – MacroAsia Corporation.
Lufthansa Technik Philippines, Inc. (LTP), a joint venture, of which 49% is owned by MAC, with Lufthansa Technik AG. LTP was incorporated in December 1999, to do aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) in NAIA. MacroAsia Catering Services, Inc. (MACS), a majority-owned subsidiary that operates in NAIA. It offers in-flight catering to the majority of international airline clients that fly to Manila, and to Philippine Airlines through its wholly-owned subsidiary, MacroAsia SATS Inflight Services (MSIS). In addition to this, the group also caters to the needs of some institutional clients, such as bank, BPOs and casinos, outside the airport. The growth in non-airline business led to the creation of a wholly-owned subsidiary, MacroAsia SATS Food Industries Corporation (MSFI) that operates a new commissary outside NAIA.
Cebu Pacific Catering Services, Inc. (CPCS), the only in-flight catering company that operates at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA). MacroAsia Airport Services Corporation (MASCORP) handles ground operations and airport services throughout the Philippines. The company also operates special economic zones at major airports and continues to expand its portfolio in aviation support services while maintaining high standards in safety and service quality.
