DigiPlus Interactive Names Ping Chen as New President

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (stock code: PLUS), the company behind popular gaming platforms BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, has appointed Ping Chen as its new President. The announcement came after their Annual Stockholders’ Meeting held on Friday, May 29, 2026.

What is DigiPlus?

DigiPlus is a Philippine company that provides digital entertainment services. Before joining DigiPlus, he held important positions at some of Asia’s biggest technology companies and worked at major international banks including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, and Morgan Stanley in places like Hong Kong and London.

Chen has special expertise in helping companies grow, making business deals (like mergers and acquisitions), and managing money and investments. He previously worked as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer at a large Asian technology company.

According to the filing, Mr. Chen will serve both as President and as a member of the Board of Directors, starting immediately.

Why Did DigiPlus Make This Change?

Mr. Chen is replacing Andy Tsui, who served as President and Director for over four years before stepping down. According to DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco, bringing Chen on board is a “strategic move” meant to help guide the company through its next growth phase.

“His extensive global experience, strategic insight, and proven leadership capabilities position him well to help steer the Company through our next phase of expansion and long-term value creation,” Tanco explained in the press release.

Tanco also thanked Andy Tsui for his work during his time at DigiPlus, noting that he “advanced key strategic initiatives” and “championed the continued growth of the business.”

What Are Chen’s Plans?

In his statement, Chen outlined his priorities as the new President. He mentioned that his job will be to:

  • Help design the company’s long-term strategy
  • Improve financial performance and how efficiently the company operates
  • Deliver higher value to investors
  • Achieve sustainable growth
  • Expand DigiPlus’s digital entertainment ecosystem
  • Improve user experience across their platforms

“It is a privilege to join DigiPlus and to push for its next phase of expansion, as we continue to serve the community and provide the best-in-class digital entertainment in the Philippines,” Chen said.

Mr. Chen holds advanced degrees from prestigious universities in England. He has a Master of Philosophy in Financial Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management Studies from Imperial College London, where he graduated at the top of his class.
