GT Capital Holdings, Inc. has given a large piece of land to Ateneo de Manila University to build a new school campus in Cavite. This land is located at a place called Riverpark in General Trias City, Cavite.
The new Ateneo campus will help students living in the southern part of Metro Manila and nearby provinces go to school without traveling too far. This is especially helpful for families in Cavite and surrounding areas who want quality education for their children.

About the Riverpark Development
The land being donated is part of Riverpark, which is described as the largest township development between GT Capital’s property company Federal Land, Inc. and their joint venture called Federal Land NRE Global, Inc. (FNG).
Think of a township as a planned community – like a big neighborhood with houses, shops, schools, and other facilities all planned together. Riverpark already has other developments including:
- A UNIQLO Logistics Facility (a warehouse for the clothing store) that opened in April 2026
- An upcoming SM City General Trias shopping mall
- Commercial lots at Riverpark North that will become shopping and dining areas
The area will also get easier to reach through two new exits from the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) – one finishing in 2026 and another in 2027.
Timeline of Events
This donation didn’t happen overnight. GT Capital and Ateneo de Manila first signed a Memorandum of Agreement in October 2025, which was like a promise to work together. The formal donation ceremony happened on May 11, 2026, making it official.
