Pryce Corporation (PSE: PPC), a company that mainly sells liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) – the same gas used for cooking stoves – has reported stronger earnings for the first nine months of 2026, according to their disclosure filed with the Philippine Stock Exchange on October 20, 2026.
What Happened with Their Money?
Think of it this way: if Pryce Corporation made a certain amount of profit last year, this year they made even more – 15.4% more to be exact. In actual money, that’s an additional Php 461 million compared to the same January to September period in 2025.
The company also brought in more sales revenue (the total money from selling their products). Their revenues grew by 14.05%, which means they earned about Php 2.22 billion more than the previous year during the same nine-month period.
Why Did They Earn More?
According to the company’s disclosure, the main reason for this growth was the increase in LPG prices. When the average price of LPG went up during the first nine months of 2026, Pryce Corporation earned more from selling it.
What Does Pryce Corporation Sell?
Pryce Corporation isn’t just about one product. Here’s how their different businesses contributed to their total revenues for the nine-month period:
- LPG and Industrial Gases: This is their biggest business, bringing in Php 17.70 billion, which represents 92.06% of all their sales. This is like when 92 out of every 100 pesos they earn comes from selling gas.
- Real Estate and Memorial Parks: This part of their business added Php 293 million.
- Pharmaceutical Products: Their medicine business contributed Php 36 million.
Important Updates for Stockholders
The company previously announced it will pay cash dividends of Php 0.33 per share to stockholders. This means if you own shares in Pryce Corporation, you’ll receive this payment on December 11, 2026, as long as you were listed as a stockholder on November 13, 2026.
Additionally, Pryce Corporation is planning something interesting with one of its subsidiary companies, Pryce Gases, Inc. They’re hiring an investment bank to study whether they should list Pryce Gases’ shares on the stock exchange separately, which would be distributed to current stockholders as a property dividend.
A Business Change to Note
Pryce Corporation announced that this will be the last financial report that includes their pharmaceutical (medicine) business. Going forward, the pharmaceutical business will no longer be part of the company’s operations, as it has been removed from their subsidiary companies.
The company’s complete financial report for the third quarter ending September 30, 2026 will be submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Philippine Stock Exchange on or before November 13, 2026.
