Alsons Consolidated Resources Earns P14.9 Billion in 2025, Up 19% from Previous Year

Alsons Consolidated Resources, Inc. (ACR), a company listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange, announced that it made P14.9 billion in revenue for the year 2025. This is 19% more than what they earned in 2024, which was P12.544 billion.

According to the company’s disclosure filed on March 26, 2026, the Board of Directors approved their financial statements for 2025 during a meeting held on the same day.

What Does ACR Do?

ACR is the publicly-listed company of the Alcantara Group, which focuses on providing electricity services in Mindanao and other parts of the Philippines. Think of them as a company that helps keep the lights on in homes, schools, and businesses.

Why Did Their Revenue Go Up?

The company explained that their revenue increased because of several reasons:

  • More people and businesses needed electricity
  • Their Retail Electricity Supply (RES) business sold more electricity
  • They traded more electricity through the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM)
  • They opened a new power plant in Bohol that started operating

How Much Profit Did They Make?

ACR’s net income (the money left after paying all expenses) was P2.4 billion in 2025. This is slightly lower than the P2.5 billion they made in 2024. The company said this decrease happened because they had to record a loss from some of their older power plants that use fossil fuels (like coal or oil).

However, the net income that goes to the parent company actually went up by 10% – from P722 million in 2024 to P800 million in 2025.

What’s Next for ACR?

Roberto P. Ramos, ACR’s Chief Financial Officer, said the company is confident about future growth and is committed to providing stable electricity to Filipinos. He mentioned they are working with the government and industry partners to handle challenges.

The company is also planning to expand its renewable energy projects, including:

  • The SPPC Solar Power Project, which won in the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Auction Program
  • The Bawing Solar Power Project, which received Green Lane Certification from the Board of Investments
