Hotel101 Global's Madrid Property Hits Record €100,000 Daily Revenue at Full Capacity

Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: HBNB), a hospitality company aiming to build hotels worldwide, announced on May 19, 2026, that its Hotel101-Madrid property achieved a major milestone by earning over €100,000 (approximately ₱7.18 million) in room revenue in just one single day while operating at 100% occupancy.

What Does This Mean in Simple Terms?

Think of it this way: Hotel101-Madrid has 680 rooms (imagine 680 hotel rooms in one building). On May 19, 2026, every single room was occupied – meaning all rooms were filled with guests staying there. In that one day alone, the hotel made over €100,000 just from people renting these rooms. That’s like filling up every seat in a big movie theater and having everyone pay for their tickets on the same day.

Who Are the Guests?

According to the company’s announcement, more than 80% of the hotel guests come from Europe, North America, and Latin America. This shows that the hotel is attracting international travelers from different parts of the world.

Why Is Hotel101-Madrid Special?

Hotel101-Madrid is the first Hotel101 property to open outside the Philippines. It officially started operations in March 2026. The company describes this Madrid hotel as their “global prototype” – essentially, it’s like a test model or blueprint that they plan to copy and build in other countries.

The hotel is located in Valdebebas, Madrid, on a 6,593-square-meter property. It’s positioned next to the new Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix racing circuit, specifically overlooking Turn 12 called “La Monumental.” The hotel has even been designated as an “Official Hotel” partner for the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035 through an agreement with MATCH Hospitality AG.

Location-wise, Hotel101-Madrid is conveniently situated:

  • About 3 minutes walking distance to Valdebebas Train Station
  • 4 minutes to the IFEMA convention complex
  • 5 minutes to the Real Madrid Sports Complex
  • 7 minutes to Madrid’s main international airport (Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas)

The hotel ranks among the top five largest hotels in Madrid based on room count.

What Facilities Does the Hotel Offer?

Hotel101-Madrid features various amenities including an all-day dining restaurant (HBNB Kitchen by La Sucursal), two swimming pools, a fitness center, a children’s playground, 24/7 reception desk, a business center, and function rooms. The hotel also uses a proprietary Hotel101 app that allows guests to check in digitally and access their rooms with digital keys.

Each room, which the company calls a “HappyRoom,” is 21 square meters in size and comes equipped with a kitchenette (with microwave, refrigerator, and kettle), luggage rack, 55-inch TV, free high-speed internet, work desk, modern bidet toilet, and premium Emma Sleep mattresses.

What Are Hotel101 Global’s Bigger Plans?

According to the company’s disclosure, Hotel101-Madrid serves as the foundation for their international expansion strategy. The company has an ambitious vision: to develop one million standardized rooms across 100 countries, with the goal of becoming the world’s largest single-brand hotel chain.

Hotel101 Global operates using what they call an “asset-light, prop-tech hospitality model” focused on generating long-term recurring revenue. In simple terms, this means they use technology and a lighter ownership structure to run hotels while focusing on steady, repeating income from guests staying at their properties.

What’s Next for Hotel101 Global?

The company shared that 2026 will be their biggest year for new hotel openings, with a total of 2,229 additional hotel rooms scheduled to become operational:

  • 680 rooms in Madrid, Spain (already opened)
  • 519 rooms in Davao, Philippines
  • 548 rooms in Cebu, Philippines
  • 482 rooms in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan (set to open in December 2026)

The Niseko hotel in Japan will be particularly significant as it will generate recurring revenue in Japanese Yen currency for the company.

Additionally, the company noted that their existing properties – the 518-room Hotel101-Manila and the 606-room Hotel101-Fort in the Philippines – continue to operate at very high occupancy levels.
