RFM Corporation Announces Php600 Million Cash Dividend, Bringing 2026 Total to Php1.5 Billion

RFM Corporation, one of the biggest food and beverage companies in the Philippines, has announced another round of cash dividends for its shareholders. Think of dividends like getting a share of the company’s profits – it’s money that the company gives back to people who own its stocks.

According to a press release dated October 21, 2026, RFM’s Board of Directors approved a Php600 million cash dividend. This means each share will receive approximately Php0.17807. If you own RFM stocks and you’re registered as a stockholder by November 5, 2026, you’ll receive this dividend payment on December 2, 2026.

Total 2026 Dividends Reach Php1.5 Billion

This latest dividend isn’t the first one RFM has given out this year. The company previously paid three smaller dividends of Php300 million each in February, May, and July 2026. When you add this new Php600 million dividend to those earlier payments, RFM’s total cash dividends for 2026 reach Php1.5 billion.

With 3,369,549,358 outstanding shares (that’s the total number of RFM stocks that exist), the total 2026 dividends work out to approximately Php0.44516 per share. Based on RFM’s stock price of Php5.14 on October 19, 2026, this represents a dividend yield of about 8.7%. In simpler terms, if you bought RFM shares at that price, the dividends alone would give you an 8.7% return on your investment for the year.

Strong Business Performance in 2026

RFM’s generous dividend payments are backed by solid business results. For the first nine months of 2026 (January to September), the company reported:

  • Net revenues: Php16.86 billion, up 11% from Php15.23 billion in the same period last year
  • Gross profit: Php6.29 billion, up 16% with improved margin of 37% (meaning they kept more profit from each peso of sales)
  • Operating income: Php1.68 billion, up 6%
  • Net income: Php1.38 billion, up 10%
  • EBITDA: Php2.27 billion, up 3%

The third quarter (July to September) showed even stronger performance, with net revenues jumping 17% to Php6.36 billion from Php5.45 billion. Gross profit grew 24% to Php2.42 billion, and net income rose 18% to Php566 million. This growth was driven by both consumer products and sales to institutions, with particularly strong performance from Selecta Milk.

Balancing Dividends with Future Growth

RFM President and CEO Joey Concepcion III explained that despite paying out Php1.5 billion in dividends, the company is still keeping money available (what he calls “dry powder”) to buy new businesses if good opportunities come along.

The company has been investing in expanding its production capacity for milk and bread using its own cash. Additionally, RFM is working with The Magnum Ice Cream Company Inc. on a multi-year project to upgrade and expand Selecta ice cream production, which will be financed through loans rather than internal cash.

Concepcion emphasized that RFM wants to keep giving shareholders regular cash dividends while also maintaining enough financial flexibility to invest in growing the business.

Global Recognition for RFM

RFM received additional recognition when it was added to the Micro Cap segment of the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (GEIS) in September 2026. This is a group of stock market indices managed by FTSE Russell. Being included in this index makes RFM more visible to international investors who use these indices as guides for their investments.
