Filinvest REIT Welcomes New International Tenant Gatestone to Northgate Cyberzone

Filinvest REIT Corp. (stock symbol: FILRT), a company that owns and rents out office buildings in the Philippines, has just welcomed a new big international company to one of its buildings. Think of FILRT like a landlord who owns really nice office buildings and rents them out to other companies.

According to a disclosure filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 25, 2026, the new tenant is Gatestone & Co., a global company that helps businesses improve their customer service and digital technology. Gatestone has leased nearly 3,500 square meters of office space—that’s about the size of half a football field—on the 6th and 7th floors of a building called Filinvest Three, located in Northgate Cyberzone in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

What Does This Mean?

Gatestone started using this office space on January 1, 2026. This is important for FILRT because it shows that big international companies want to rent their buildings. Gatestone is not a new company—it was founded way back in 1926 (almost 100 years ago!) and works with clients all over the world including North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Maricel Brion-Lirio, who is the President and CEO (the main boss) of Filinvest REIT Corp., said they are happy to welcome Gatestone. She explained that this shows FILRT provides high-quality office spaces that meet international standards—meaning they’re good enough for companies from anywhere in the world.

John Tilley, the President of Gatestone & Co., said they chose this location because it has a good spot, strong infrastructure (like internet and electricity), and skilled workers nearby.

About Filinvest REIT

FILRT is known as the country’s first “sustainability-themed” real estate investment trust, which means they focus on buildings that are environmentally friendly. They own 17 Grade A office buildings (Grade A means top quality) with over 300,000 square meters of space that can be rented out.

Most of their buildings (16 out of 17) are located in Northgate Cyberzone, which is an office park accredited by PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority). The building where Gatestone will operate, Filinvest Three, is PEZA-accredited and EDGE-certified, which are certifications showing the building follows environmental and quality standards.

Besides office buildings, FILRT also owns land leased to Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay and the Festival Main Mall in Filinvest City.

Why This Matters

For FILRT, getting tenants like Gatestone is good for business because it means more rental income. The company is building a reputation for attracting international companies in industries like information technology, shared services, financial services, and business process outsourcing (BPO).
