RFM Corporation Gives Out ₱300 Million More in Cash Dividends After Strong Sales Growth

RFM Corporation, a major food and beverage company in the Philippines, announced on June 24, 2026, that it will give out an additional ₱300 million in cash dividends to its shareholders. Think of dividends like sharing profits with the people who own pieces of the company – it’s their way of saying “thank you” for investing in them.

According to the company’s press release, this latest dividend payment brings RFM’s total cash dividends for 2026 to ₱900 million. For people who own RFM shares, this means they’ll receive about ₱0.08903 for each share they own. The payment will be given on July 31, 2026, to anyone who owns RFM shares as of July 8, 2026.

To put this in simpler terms: if someone bought RFM shares at ₱5.50 per share, the total dividends they’re getting this year (₱0.2671 per share) would give them a 4.9% return just from these dividend payments alone – not counting any increase in the share price itself.

Why is RFM Giving Out More Money?

Joey Concepcion III, who is RFM’s President and CEO (the top boss of the company), explained that the company can afford to give out this money because their business is doing really well. Even though there were some problems caused by what he called “after-effects of the Iran war,” RFM’s business stayed strong.

Here’s how well RFM did in the first three months of 2026:

  • Sales (Revenues): Went up 10% to ₱4.970 billion
  • Profit (Net Income): Increased 10% to ₱341 million

Concepcion said that their strong sales, good cash flow, and smart money management allow them to both reward their shareholders with dividends and still have enough money to invest in making their business better for the future.

What is RFM Planning to Do With Their Money?

RFM isn’t just giving money away – they’re also planning to spend on improving their business. The company will focus on upgrading their milk production lines in 2026. This means they’re buying better equipment and technology to make their milk products.

Why does this matter? Better equipment means they can make higher quality products, work more efficiently (do things faster and cheaper), and produce more milk products to sell. Since milk is one of RFM’s important business categories, these improvements should help them sell more dairy products like ready-to-drink milk and other milk-based items.

What Does RFM Sell?

RFM Corporation is one of the biggest food and drink companies in the Philippines. They make and sell products that many Filipino families use every day, including:

  • Pasta: Fiesta brand
  • Milk: Royal and Selecta Milk brands
  • Ice Cream: Through their joint venture company called Magnum RFM Ice Cream, Inc., they sell Selecta, Magnum, and Cornetto ice cream
  • Flour: For baking and cooking

A joint venture means RFM partnered with another company to run the ice cream business together.

New People Joining RFM’s Board of Directors

RFM also announced some changes to their Board of Directors during their annual stockholders’ meeting on June 24, 2026. The Board of Directors is like a group of experienced people who help guide the company and make important decisions.

Two new directors were elected:

George T. Barcelon – He joined as an independent director, replacing Atty. Lilia R. Bautista. An independent director is someone from outside the company who can give unbiased advice. Mr. Barcelon has lots of experience in different businesses like technology, manufacturing, and real estate. He’s the Chairman Emeritus (a special honorary position) of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also serves as an independent director at BDO Unibank, one of the biggest banks in the Philippines.

Mary Elizabeth C. Santos – She joined as a regular director, replacing John Marie A. Concepcion. Ms. Santos has more than 20 years of experience managing businesses in property, investments, retail, supply chain, and food franchises. RFM said her experience will help the Board make better long-term decisions.

The company thanked the outgoing directors for their service. Atty. Lilia R. Bautista, who used to be the Chairperson of the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (the government agency that watches over the stock market), helped RFM improve how they run the company. John Marie A. Concepcion helped build Selecta into a leading ice cream brand and supported the growth of RFM’s other consumer products.
